Had a dry aged ribeye at http://www.carnevino.com/ in Vegas a few months back. Agreed, it's the best steak I ever had. Too bad I can't afford $25/lb steaks on a regular basis. I'm sure I'll find the next special occasion to indulge. I'd just be scared that I would screw it up on the grill.

Prices do seem high across the board, even though they have the same supplier for pork as bj's and normal grocery stores (smithfield's) I smoked a boston butt from them not to long ago, and the pre cook texture was lots different than what i normally get. The pork was very tender and not firm at all, they claim that other places brine the meat (i guess to up the weight with water). I couldnt tell a difference.



They did give me a sample of their marinated steak... very good, I will pick more up the next time in there.
