One of my neighbors I'm not real fond of ( and I think the feeling is mutual ) got a free, used hotub that was given to his wife by a co-worker. Its a large one w wood surround that covered the whole flatbed of the rented brand spankin new 2wd F250 U-haul w the alum. fold down bed. I was about to leave the house when my wife told me they had stuck the truck in his yard and needed my help. It was stuck just inside the gate of his wooden fence in the wet grass and soft backyard after the rain and w 6 neighbors and some boards etc. we were able to get it moving again. Dumbass stuck it again on the way out because he stopped at the gate because it was only about 6" of space if the truck was centered and he was sliding a lil on the gentle slope as he approached it too slowly IMO. I had told him to let some air out of the rear new 80psi truck tires till they sagged for more traction twice, but he did'nt want that advice or any other I had given earlier. I hooked my old, wornout 84 Toy to the Ford w a strap, put it and 4low and proceeded to pull him into the front yard:driver::burnout: tearing the shit out of his yard/grass w my BFG ATs and he sideswipped the fencepost putting a nice dent in the front fender and scratching the shit out of the front running or headlight. I asked if he had gotten insurance when he rented it and he said they did'nt do that and it was my fault anyway, jokingly I assume, to which I replied, " good thing I don't have insurance (not true) and maybe you shoulda rented a truck that was'nt brand spanking new or just nocked down the crappy old fence to make more room for the truck ". I guess we're never gonna get along. I wanted to take pics but I'm sure that would have made a bad situation worse, his once pretty yard is a mess :D

Oh I forgot to mention supergenius had his Acura suv backed up to the rear of the Ford when I got there and he and some of the neighbors were trying to push the truck by holding a 4' 2x4 longways against the square bar of it's trailerhitch and the Fords bumper, w one neighbor holding the lumber in-place until it got tight, while trying not to stand in between the 2 rigs. So he'd push a few inches and it would fall on the ground and they'd do it again and again.:shaking: I never seen that before and I've seen alot of extraction techniques.

I've heard that nobody inspected the truck before he rented it, or when he returned it and someone else was there to rent it and drove it away before he left the U-haul place so he thinks he's off the hook for the damage.

You're a better neighbor than I. If I had that relationship with my neighbor I'd have pulled up a comfy lawn chair, grabbed a beer and watched the show.

lol I did this when my neighbors were cutting a Bradford pear off their house.... they then decided to call in a tree service

umm I think they'll notice, probably didn't inspect b/c it was brand new

Actually the hotub guy asked me fri. If I could help go load and unload it and I told him I can't lift heavy stuff stuff because of a compressed disc and sciatica that's plaged me for 15 yrs. but I appreciate your sentiment :flipoff2: I dislike him because he's an idiot who thinks he's brilliant and he's an ex college wrestler who apparently has a quick temper and I've seen him snap and physically abuse his young son twice for clowning around.
