The proper way to drop your kids off at school

So you think anybody has anything for chuck this season?

1) insert 'when your daily is down, but you have a race car in the garage' meme
2) impressive an engine like that can handle being driven on the street...from cooling system, to charging system, to dry top end, etc etc.
3) I record that show and just fast forward to the racing...60 minute show, about 3.5 minutes of watching.

Sad thing is drag or round track that's how it is drama all the time to many egos
I grew up around the drag strip and it always seemed pretty chill. The dirt track is where I saw all the drama. Whole lot of bitchin n whining with grown ass men trying to fight each other over bent sheet metal. It's a damn dirt track. You're gonna bump each other. Heaven forbid you dent my 1982 cutlass that I've already cut up.

The guys i go help at the drag strip run in stick street class. Pretty much drama free. Some of the big money bracket racers are little bitches about everything

I kept watching it and in my head I heard.....

Ha, I thought exactly the same.

And here I am, based on the title expecting this thread to be about an alternate way of taking a dump

Yes. The camaro almost had him on last nights show, and if/when Shawn, Dave, Chief, Jerry, and Doc get their junk fixed then the top five will be a busy place. Chuck's car is bad, but I don't see any car staying at number one for too long.

And yes, there is more drama in racing than at a middle school dance :flipoff2:

All I could think is how much that must have cost to do.

Also I record and just fast forward thru the show

The c16 we use is about $20/gal. $100 lasts 4-5 200' passes, idling and on/off the trailer. If he's still on gasoline (some of those guys are alcohol), he probably spent $20 in that video alone.

Never spent any time around a derby track. How do you bitch about a derby? Isn't the goal to beat the hell out of each other till there's one standing?
Not so much bitchin but lots of talkin smack. They are some of the cheaten-est guys Ive ever saw.

the video reminds me of a little fun i used to have dropping my kids off at school. i had an old geo prizm with a blown muffler. sounded like a sick water buffalo. i would sit there and give it a few wabba wabbas and they would get embarrassed as hell. they begged me to drop them at the gate. no can do. lol.

Its sad how few of those cars did burnouts and that they had to assist half the ones that did one.
Yeah I don't know,Im kinda on the fence about the whole thing.Kinda cool but kinda dumb at the same time.:shaking:

Haha. That intro is pretty accurate for sure.
In my first Jeep, a 99 4-banger Wrangler all stock, I had the top and doors off one night and this song came on. I turned it up pretty loud to listen to it at a stop light. This old black guy pulled up beside me during the opening of it and he asked if something was wrong with my Jeep because the "sound." I laughed and turned the radio down and told him it was just a song, then he started laughing.

Thought it would end with a burnout or something cool. Kinda a letdown. :(
Agreed. Might as well have been a 5.0 Mustang with a cam.
