It's real, and pretty standard to use platform buggies to go hunting and wheeling in Fla. There lots of black thick muck (mud) deep water holes Thats the best way to cover a lot of ground hunting hogs, deer ect.

so what do you do if you get stuck, put the rope ladder down, climb down, go diving for the winch, pull it out and hook to a peice of grass???

I use to live in FL and actually never heard of them getting stuck. NEver really thought about it either.
