I'm buying a new saw, and I just wondered if anyone has ever seen it before. It is called a SawStop, and it is about $1500 for the contractor model. The only problem is that I have to fit 250lbs of :poop: in a 5lb bag (my van), and it is already stuffed to the top w/tools. Check out this video.

I did buy a new Fein multimaster today though, and it is pretty cool too!! Kinda like the tool that a doctor uses to cut off a cast. it will cut through 3/4 oak floors and many other things, but is relatively hard to cut your hand with.

if the safty is tripped, the blade and mechanism must be replaced. Any blade can be used ($40) and the mechanism is $70, which contains most of the electronics of the system. In the end, you're looking at less than $120 and your back in business, and still able to give the bird:fuck-you:

woodcraft in Raleigh has one in their showroom. If your a woodworker, leave your CC behind, you'll love the store.

Sure is a cool idea though

They won`t call you nubby with this saw!
