Sunday morning the wife woke me up to tell me that we had no water. Of course it was pouring rain and I wasn't feeling like standing out there in the rain since my gantry crane and tarp are both in use covering a demon possessed Dodge Caravan. So I did a little research online and found that there is a thing called a torque arrester that stops the pump from moving around so much when it is on and keeps the wiring from rubbing on the well casing. .
This morning I went to Lowe's and procured said ingenious device for $10 and installed it.
Since 13Bullets and Gator helped me get the pump where it is much easier to pull the wife and I had it out and back in in about an hour and a half while the dogs laid in the grass beside the seat containing the sleeping baby.
HOPEFULLY that is the end of pulling it. My neighbor just looks at me and shakes his head now when he sees up pulling it up.
