My question is why has my fan stopped coming on automatically at the sensors preset temp in my Jeep/350? Here's a description of my set up. Two switches in cab. One is a rocker switch (auto & off) the other is toggle (manual on). Temp sensor (200° on/185°off). 30amp circuit breaker. Bosch 4 prong relay. Cyclone fan for Chevy conversion. I've been running this system for about 2 1/2 years with no problems. Two days ago I noticed the fan wasn't coming on automatically so I'd have to cut it on manually. I just flip the manual toggle on then off, fan comes on and stays on (shuts off at temp sensor preset????). If I flip the toggle & cut Jeep off then wait awhile cut it back on it still stays on until the preset temp is reached. Why is it cutting off at the preset, but not coming on at preset temp? I replaced relay already, getting a new temp sensor today (while I'm at it I'll get a new circuit breaker). Any suggestions as to what my problem is will be appreciated. I work 3rd shift, so I won't be back on the forum till around 9pm.

Sounds like your on the right track with the temp sensor

My temp sesor just crapped out on me, I cut the two wires off the sensor and spliced them together, but I need a new sensor, is yours the one or two wire deal?

One wire coming off the thermostat housing from the intake manifold.
