i had to do the same vertical up test once a year at frieghtliner passed first try every time. def not easy they did the x ray and the bend test.

Went through that in tech schools and pipe certification classes, no problem in controlled enviroment. Do that in the field (standing on your head, inside a confined space, looking through a mirror, ect.) = Good Welder!
