Thinking of doing a scenic ride tomorrow in Boone

We are thinking of sampson road to boone then down globe to the see if the " jeep trail" on google maps is still there. Wouldn't mind another truck or two? we can be there 10 ish

Pretty sure that "jeep trail" is off limits. You can look, but cannot touch.

Sampson rd is fun but I wouldn't say the views are that good.

We went to find the jeep trail but had gps failure then pouring rain. So fail on our part. But had a great ride up brown mountain beach rd to Mortimer then to Cragg on 90.
