not mine doe. Fvck Jr and his Dad too. Just thought id share.

Lots Of respect for Sr. Jr sold out along time ago, and now he’s big in the PC movement one more reason not to
Care.

Sucks how NASCAR has become such pansy bs... I loved working at BMS and had A pit crew member for Goodyear an old man tell me once they ain't racing now they just following the guy with most money around these days... then laughed and walked off! Just like football tho can't hit the guy gettin paid 20million!

I liked the video, not the disrespect for the 3!!! :flipoff2:

they wrecked everyone at the last Talladega race and jr still couldn't win. if jr was any other jr besides earnhardt, he'd been a mid-pack also ran his whole career...oh wait ;)

If Nascar cared about a big PR splash they find a way to have JR back in the bud car at homestead. with the 8 on the side. The 3 portion stylized in black and the other half white.
And tell both the team and the tech inspector...this car is approved no matter what.

I mean it wouldn't save the dieing sport, but it'd make people watch and talk for a few days.

I'm no jr fan just to clear that up... lol Jr had a family rep to hold and he turned into a yuppie and forgot how his ole man taught him how to drive! He had the potential and the team just didn't have the drive! No pun intended.

I was a Sr. fan. I remember the Daytona crash and where I was vividly. I was/am a Jr. fan. You have to give him credit for staying in the spotlight as long as he has being a better than average but not great driver. Kinda like Kyle Petty.

You also have to remember that there are more elite drivers, and they're all in elite equipment, and you just can't wrestle around an ill-handling racecar like drivers could 15 years ago.

That being said, I haven't watched a race since I've had kids. I'll turn it on for background noise every once in a while.

I think this is something folks miss to be honest.

Jr has 26 career wins. Kyle 8.
Jr drove in a much more competitive time.

Jr ranks 9th amongst his peers in career wins. (20th overall in the modern era - 29th all time )
Was he his dad?
Hell no.
But he wasnt just better than average he was very good. Not great, not elite but very, very good.

He also was by all accounts a great friend and boss. Has never been divorced. Never been arrested. He's been a model citizen on and off the track.

True. And I didn't intend to compare his driving to Kyle. I threw Kyle in there because of staying around as a commentator etc. Shame that Adam went so young. He seemed more like grandpa.

Yep. Just because he wasn't as good as his old man (hell, nobody else was, either) doesn't mean he sucks. Sure, he's kind of sucked the last few years, but most drivers do prior to giving it up. Everyone loses their nerve eventually. Jr lost his awhile back. At least he didn't pull a Petty or a Waltrip and ride around at the back of the pack for years on end with nary a hope of winning. Takes them a couple of years to realize they just don't have "it" anymore. Kudos to him for realizing it and not just cashing in on his name for the next 10 years.

The big crashes were just the push he's needed. He learned along time ago that the money & longevity is in owning and has been torn between wanting to drive and wanting to own. It is next to impossible to do both well, esp this day & time, and only a few drivers can say they have.
