this is pretty neat

Fan of Star Wars or not I'm speechless. That's the most detailed time intensive thing I've seen created in a long time. The other work on the site was equally impressive.

I wonder - at what point does the model become more detailed than the model actually used in the movie?

Most of the models in the movie were not detailed all that much, its just getting the details that were there right...
