a well maintained and stringent hunting program would benefit both sides. Allowing farmers and cattlemen to protect their livestock at any cost should be the standard.

The title of this thread is misleading, and you know it.

Why not trust them? The environmentalists were fighting for the wolves, who were here before we were, and we almost driven to extinction due to human greed and mob mentality. The wolves would most likely be gone and no longer be a beautiful part of the national parks.

The title should be 'you can't trust anyone' Greed and ignorance runs rampant in this country and people do things without thinking them through everyday all day.
