This one is for me

Yup my orbital was bad. George brought a spare over and it works great. I think I'm gonna rebuild it and see what happens.

Ok I've been busy the last week or so on this thing. Got the steering finished up, painted almost everything, mounted the front clip for good, installed the harnesses, got 99% of the wiring done, finished the rear tubework and last but not least finished all the random welding that I hadn't done already!

Still to do.... wire alternator, drive poles, nut and bolt everything and brakes.

Dayyaammmmn! That looks awesome! Any pics of the front clip on it? I love the color scheme and the white interior cage. Very sanitary work Chris!
 
You were right, it had to be the orbital. Glad you got it steering. Me likey the cage in white! Did some easy wheeling in the F350 today. Let my 12 YO nephew drive it all through the woods at Dad's. He did good, grinning from ear to ear.

A little late (ok, a lot late) to the game on this one, but that dash is killer! Gonna have to check it out one of these days. Didn't think you were working on it much lately. Guess I was wrong. Looks great!

All under hood plumbing tightened and routed....

Need to weld a HD roller assembly on the back of that diff cover. Your departure angle is going to be stupid good.
 
Yea I gotta get plate diff covers and rear disc eventually but at this point I'm so close to wheeling, thats the little stuff that can happen after its driveable.
The rest of my brake parts showed up today, so hopefully tomorrow it'll stop on its own.
 
When you order your diff covers order mine too. Maybe a little better deal for us that way. I dont know what you want to use on the front is special or not.
 
The wife has got me doing a complete bathroom renovation :handed: It started with a trip to hd on a friday night and turned into 2 weeks of work... o_O Should be done by the weekend. I might see if I can go to durham town with you guys since I built up alot of browny point. :D The jeep looks bad!! backerboard and tile dust all over it! Im due for a visit!
 
dude rig looks great...gotta watch out with all that shiny stuff tho...trails where i come from dont like shinny stuff...lol
