i bet there is no mosquito's around there
I have actually contemplated making a bat house to keep the mosquitoes out of my back yard.
Bats don't eat much in the way of mosquitoes, they're very small and not very nutritional. Our old neighbor was a biologist of some sort, that's what she said.
Go to Lowes and get the bug spray stuff that screws onto your garden hose, then go nuts in the yard. Pay special attention to damp/dark/still areas where mosquitoes can rest. Repeat about once every two-three weeks. And get rid of ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING that holds standing water. That goes double for poorly sloped gutters, catch basins in the patio or driveway, the little cup holes in the tops of coolers, etc. If you're getting bitten by Asian tigers, they're breeding within about 150ft of you.

Doesnt work so well with a FUCKING POND in the yard.
it's hard to get rid of standing water with a 1 acre pond in the front yard.
