Biggest downside to the PYOs is they are only 6” wide. But super friggin light and good looking.
I'm torn between keeping the PY0s and just wrapping them in 285 BFGs; but I think either the Eagle Alloys or a set of chrome H2 rims would look badass on this truck.Biggest downside to the PYOs is they are only 6” wide. But super friggin light and good looking.

Do it! Maxxis 265sI'm torn between keeping the PY0s and just wrapping them in 285 BFGs; but I think either the Eagle Alloys or a set of chrome H2 rims would look badass on this truck.
My 04 durrrmax had 315s on PYOs when I got it. Dropped down to 285s and it rode and drove great.I'm torn between keeping the PY0s and just wrapping them in 285 BFGs; but I think either the Eagle Alloys or a set of chrome H2 rims would look badass on this truck.
There's always Quadrasteer, but you can't have it with an 8.1...I'm not opposed to the longbed. Just with having to park at the schools a lot when I go for my kids sports stuff, and how narrow my road is when I back the camper or car trailer in, having that extra length is a pain. My old ECLB 98 K2500 is about the same length as a CCSB and it was about as much wheelbase as I could have to back into my driveway without being way into my neighbors front yard. And they are annoying neighbors.
I don't know what would be more badass, an 8.1L quadtrasteer truck or a Duramax quadtrasteer. There's always Quadrasteer, but you can't have it with an 8.1...
Mine I posted above is QS. Absolutely love it. There are definitely some duramax swapped ones out there.I don't know what would be more badass, an 8.1L quadtrasteer truck or a Duramax quadtrasteer.
There used to be a Duraburb QS that ran around Salisbury, I haven't seen it in some time so I think it's been sold off to somewhere else.
Too expensive and even with gm losing money on every unit they couldn't get enough out there for people to know they existed. Mine is a 2005 (last year) and QS was $1995 option. Original cost I believe was over $7k.I honestly thought Quadrasteer was going to take off like wild fire, I was really surprised to see it have such a short run.
