ok, so Ive got to finish lengthening my rig, and need to move the stock tank. I drive this rig to the trails and back (hopefully) so I need to be legal. 1) will this be legal - rig is 83 CJ
2) I keep my 38" spare laid down in the back, so I would like to either get an flat tank (<4" tall) and put it under the tire or get a slender unit and put it between the bulkhead and the tire. Ive seen one thats 7" wide x 12" x 30 that would work great. I think a taller one would starve less on trail.
3) can I mate a GM 6.0 version intank pump into it with minor issues?
4) anybody know of a stock tank dimensional sheet. theres got to be a stock tank that fits the bill.
5) what would it cost to have a custom unit done. one that fit right would be worth the $$ to me.
