The only N.C. lift laws I've ever read in a State released article is " no more than four in. of suspension lift and no more than three in. of body lift. But it stated that no more than a 44 in. tire. The kicker is the truck frame, it's a must I'm guessin because I have a friend that got a ticket for to much body lift and the officer that pulled him told him that after he measured it, Then told him other than that he was legal. AS far as it bein a safety issue, I don't think so.If that were the case rail buggys would deffinately be illegal.
