A new air filter is in order too. My DD was getting CRAPPY mileage till I replaced it.

K&N all the way

I prefer air filters that actually FILTER the air effectively.
The one and only K&N I've ever had was only good at sucking up mud & getting so clogged it would stall the truck. IMHO AEM filters are far superior had one on my duramax & loved it. Btw those are some sweet looking plugs.

My sister called me freaked out the other day because her car started hucking and bucking...and got worse the higher the rpm. I hopped in and drove it and was pretty sure it was ignition related. I asked her last time she did a tune up or had one done...she said never...she's owned the car 10 years. So you can imagine what the plugs looked like.

K&N all the way

The only thing I have used K&N on was my racing Gokart and it had to be cleaned and reoiled after every race. If I didn;t that it would let so much dirt through it would destroy the motor. I ended up finding that out the hard way!

I had a K&N in a tacoma I owned. When I pulled the intake boot off the manifold it was full of dust. Looked just like my TV after 6 mos of no dusting. K&N came off that day and a paper filter went on. I'd rather sacrifice a little mpg (if even) than destroy the motor because of dirt.
