what is the best thind to put into a large tire for balancing? i am running 38s. anything will be helpful. thanks

Go buy 4 big packets of BBs from wal mart. Put one in each tire.

I am running 34s and I put half of a bottle in each tire. Works well.

Or 8-10 oz of antifreeze in each one. Will be quieter than the bb's. And easier on the inside of the wheels.

I never had any noise problems except when I stopped. I could hear them all hitting the rim. Kinda cool, actually! Also people would look at you funny.

Like the antifreeze idea too.

i never seen any one do that but anit that bad for your rims?
The antifreeze? I don't see how it would be bad for the rims. Make 'em kinda slimy I guess. The bb's I can see blasting the paint off the inside when stopping. (Assuming steel wheels)

I ran them for a couple of years and then last year I de-mounted them. Those BBs didn't hurt the powder coating at all.

Did you use the amount that innovative balancing suggested?

I assume you guys are talking about airsoft BBs right, not metal ones?

Na, I used the copper ones, the ones that go in the little guns that you use to shoot your buddies and 55 gal drums .

Those tire BBs are probably the way to go. I had friends who tried using those airsoft pellets without any success. Dunno if they were doing it wrong, or what the deal is.
