Made for a wild ride going down I-85 in Gastonia doing about 60.
Good thing it was on the rear. Tire was used when I bought it along with one other. Still has decent tread left and had no visual signs that anything was wrong with it.
Gotta love Discount Tire. I bought the two used from a member on here and then two new ones from Discount. They mounted all four and offered the free replacement plan for all 4. I was shocked that they even offered it for the used ones. I kinda balked at the price but went ahead and bought the plan for $23.00/ tire.
Fast forward to yesterday. I carried the tire up to them and they said all I would have to pay was for the new replacement plan for the new tire. So for about $50.00 I get a brand new 32 BFG tire to replace it.

Well really you payed a $115 for the new tire because you had to get the replacement plan for all 5 plus the extra 23 for the new tire...but thats still alot better than buying a new tire, plus you still have the plan for the other used one that will probably blow later.

I have had a few that have done that on a trailer but that is weird to happen on a vehicle that was no loaded and just driving down the highway.

wow man still alotta meat left on there! Glad youre ok. Wonder what caused em to fail?

Dang sorry to hear that! hows the yota comeing?
Front SA is sitting on saw horses complete. Working on the rears I bought from you. Got one side apart and painted.

explain this replacement deal to me??
Discount tire offers a free replacement/repair certificate for $23.00/ tire (previous price) for anything that happens to it. I bought 2 new tires from Discount and I had 2 fairly new, used tires I bought from a member on here. They even covered the used ones under that plan. Used tire blows out, they put a brand new tire on, I pick it up and pay $31.05. This covers the new certificate for the new tire they put on. So basically I get a brand new BFG for $54.05 (original certificate $23 + new certificate $25.50 + environmental fees) Sure beats the $170. that 32" tires now cost!
