IROK vs. TSL vs. your favorites.
radial vs. bias
I'm looking in the 36-37 range, under 250 a tire. What should i get? This is for a rig that gets driven to and from the trails.
Thanks

I really like my Irok Radials if that counts for much. I've put about 1000 miles on them so far and they aren't showing (if any) hardly any wear.

IROK 36 radials

I have the 36 radial IROKs and they are very smooth and quiet for such an aggressive tread. My only beef is their weight. I would like to switch to TSL bias 36s as I move more towards a trailered only rig. x2 the IROK radials wear slower than the BIAS but are $$$ and heavy. Spin these on the rocks and the leading edge of the scooped lugs rip up.

I really like my Irok bias plys. They are much more road friendly than my old TSL-SX's. But they aren't as aggressive as the SX's either. The SX itself is a pretty tough and almost indestructible tire.

I liked my 36" Irok's (bias ply's). They rode very good on the street (unbalanced on beadlocks), and performed well offroad. From what I have witnessed, the Irok's seem to perform better offroad than TSL's. I was wheeling with a leaf sprung Toy with a similar setup to mine, his seemed to hook up MUCH better. Mine was on 38.5" SX's, and his on 39.5" Iroks. My SX's rode OK on the road, but not a good as the Iroks, but the bias ply's WILL wear out fast on the street.
