What kind of tire options are there for 16" rims? I would be looking for something with aggressive tread. Reason im asking is I found a pretty good deal on some 16" rims and I will be needing new rims after my axle swap anyways due to change in bolt pattern. Another thing I dont know is metric sizes, I would be looking to run around a 33" tire with the possibility of going to a 35" tire down the road. So what im looking for here is the selection of tires and sizes I should be looking for to get the equivelant of a 33-35" tire. Thanks for the help. :driver:

Edit: if it matters, the vehicle will be driven on the road as well, so I would be looking for tires that are aggressive but still decent on the road. Thanks

Ill be doing moderate off-roading, you know, not every weekend, but more than once every other month. The jeep is and will be my daily driver until I can get me another DD. Thanks for the link as well.

285/75/16 is roughly a 33...the 285/75 TSL Radial measures 33.9" when new and that is probably the biggest 285/75 I have seen/found. 315/75/16 is going to be around a 35" tire.

In terms of tire choices..You cant really go wrong with the BFG M/T and A/T and Goodyear M/TR which I currently am getting ready to run in a 285/75/16. They all make for a pretty good DD/Trail tire.

I've got a set of 35" Swampers I'm trying to sell. They are for a 16" wheel. Let me know if you are interested...I'm right up the road in Salisbury.
