My tires have this stamped beside the dot AGJ366. What is the production year?

If it was after 2000 shouldn't they have 4 numbers instead of 3? They have some fine cracks in the tread but I would have never thought they were 14 years old.

The production date is the last 4 digits in the DOT number. What you've posted is the first group. The production date is usually in a oval kind of embossed in the tire. Something like 3602. Which would be the 36th week of 2002. There won't be any letters in that group.

Those are the numbers in the stamped in oval section behind dot. Here is where I got my info http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=11

some tires have full dot and partal dot on each side. that looks like a partal.

and last 4 if the tire is from 2000-up

last 3 if the tire is old as crap.

first 2 = week made out of 52 weeks in a year.

last 2 = year made.
