Hey guys, I bought a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee yesterday. Got it for a steal! It has 5” of lift currently with 32/11.50/15 BFG KM2 mud terrains. They ride like ass for lack of a better word lol I don’t believe they were ever rotated. I’m looking at a couple different tires and would like some advice from those who have experience with them. I’m wanting to go back with a 32/11.50...I’m currently looking at BFG KM3 M/T, Cooper STT Pro, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. This Jeep will see the road more than it will be off-road sadly but I plan on riding Brown MTN OHV and a few other places with it as well as it will be in Boone a lot during the winter so snow/ice will be a factor. I’m open to other recommendations as well! Thanks for the help in advance.

With the usage being more road than trail putting snow and ice in the mix, of the three listed I’d say dura trac. Also consider Toyo atII, Nitto terra or ridge Grapplers. There are others that people may have had experience with as well.

X2 for the dura tracs. They work very well in snow and ice. They dont clean out sticky mud very well, but do ok offroad.
The next best A/T tires I have owned are Nittos and Bfgs.

I have STT Pros on my tow rig, and I like them, but it is not my DD. Aso, for hat ZJ, with some trimming of the front plastic fascia, 33x12.5 tires will fit

I’m currently running the Cooper STT Pro in 31x10.50 on my ZJ and a buddy of mine had 33’s and got roughly 55k miles out of them. I love the way they look too.
