Tire vulacanization ?

I've got a near new IROK that has got a 3" cut in the sidewall, does anyone know if it can be repaired by vulcanizing it? And if so who in the area does this? Thanks
 
someone in Hickory does.
I had a Bogger done that was in the sidewall and probably close to 3" (maybe 2 or so) and never had a problem

I just had a MTR vulcanized back in the summer. It had a 2 inch cut in the side wall and is now my spare but holds air good. I had mine done at Aiken and Black tire company in Hickory. No one else would touch it. I think it costed me $65 but that sure beats the heck out of a new tire cost. Let me know if you need the number. just seems like a long way to travel to get that done. cause you'll have to make two trips caus it takes them a couple days.

Yeah man if you have the # that would be great, I go down to Statesville every Tuesday so it would not be too big of a deal. Thanks again
 
Aiken Black.....cant remember what it costs, just remember it was more than 4WP tire guarantee....
