Front tire from my mazda is wearing really fast on the inner corner. See pics, its fairly smooth across the top, not real "choppy".
Trying to figure where to look, my tendency is to think thid is a camber problem... or possibly toe?

what does the tire on the other side look like ?

I would think that if it were a toe problem, that only effected one side that you would feel a significant pull to that side.

I'll lean more to a camber issue, maybe even a hub bearing issue ( which would mask as a camber issue ) any unexpailned vibration when braking ?

my work van had the vibes occasionally when braking, turned out the right side unit bearing was very loose

Other side is wearing more on the inside too, but not nearly so bad. It still has tread.
There is definitely something out of whack, to drive straight the steering wheel is a couple of degrees turned rightward, if I just let go it will pull left but not by much (not like it pulls the wheel straight).
I had a bad wheel bearing on that side for awhile, thanks to the CV being stuck in the hub I had to replace the whole spindlw w/ a junkyard unit. Replaced the lower control arm/balljoint then too b/c it was a little wobbly. No doubt from the bad bearing.
At the time I replaced it the tire was wearing a little, and wobbling w/ braking, which I attributed to the bearing. But the wear has gotten worse since then.

Ok, so you now have a used bearing assy of unknown age / mileage ? That would be my first suspect, the other side probably wasn't far behind the original anyway.

I'd check also the tie rods for play, and all the bearings and ball joints again. Hell, check the strut as well

You either have worn out or bent parts effecting your alignment

Time to make a car payment ( is what I tell the wife when I spent $$$ on my Runner ). I'll gladly take a $500 repair once every year or so over a $300 monthly

Both tires wearing on same edge- toe is off . One tire wearing- camber is off or maybe both. Make sure all components are tight and get a good alignment. With the price of tires being high an alignment is cheap.

The right front wheel bearing in my passat started deteriorating, and put about 10k miles of wear on that tire in 2-3k miles, with the majority of the wear focused on the inside edge of the tread like yours. The only clue was a faint rumbling at speed (almost like an AT or MT tire) and the tire wear.
