Been here for a long time, figured it was time to join and introduce myself. I've been wheeling and building trucks for 20 years. First cut my teeth in 89' on a sweet 71' Bronco. I managed to hack it up pretty good, but I learned how to do things by just taking it a part and figuring it out and putting it back together. Didn't have a lot of money back than so I made do with what I could afford. Not that my bank account is any better off these days. Since then I've had an 85' CJ, 2 86's CJ's, a 74' Bronco and a 73' Scout.Getting ready to start my 66' Scout project (as soon as I can sell my 86' CJ) and I can always use some info from you guys while offering some insight when I'm needed. Wondering if there are any internationals on here around Charlotte, NC.

Welcome. Not an international guy...except for a 24' box truck...does that count?

But I am near charlotte though.

not a scout guy but the bronco words got my attention. howdy.

There are many Scout guys just south of you in the Greenville, SC area. There are also a few in Charlotte.

Not to steer you away from NC4x4, but I recommend you checkout the SEBA (Southeast Binders Association) forum at www.binderplanet.com. There are ~20 guys in the club that build and wheel scouts, and more that just get together often to kick tires and socialize.

If nothing else, they can help you find parts and give you some ideas on your build.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone. Yea, BinderPlanet is a great sight. Ton of info and good resource for parts/vehicles. I'm on there all the time.
