So im tired of beatin on my cherokee all the time, shes getting old and needs some extra care. So im trying to decide whether to get a lifted yahama grizzly 700 or build a tube buggy. I hunt so itd be nice to have a fourwheeler to haul deer and ducks back, but at the same time how badass is a tube buggy. Either way i go one day my cherokee will be finished and ill beable to wheel her again...maybe depends on how much i spend. She may end up just being a sexy dd.

Absolutely not, couldnt even consider selling my kid! She had a rough life. Shes getting new floor pans this week when i get a chance and shes got alot of very abusive miles on her. After she gets a motor, manual tranny swap, coilovers in the rear with long arms, 11-12in lift front and rear, 40s, ford 9in and dana hp 44, lockers front and rear, full cage, new paint, and new interior. Were taking it step by step but she needs a break from the wheeling while im doing it.

Your plans for that build seem... poorly thought out.

Also, I don't think you understand the cost to build a tube buggy, unless your planning a ftoy style build, your looking at a serious chunk of change, even an ftoy adds up quick

Yeah i know my cherokee is laid out poorly there. Im just trying to get her back together in show room condition sorta.
And buggys dont cost much when you have everything except suspension and tires. If or when i do build my buggy i have a bunch of tubing already, i have a 22re with trans ill run, i have the yota axles, i have several thomas built bus seats.
So i guess suspension, steering, i have brakes but id probably disc brake swap. Idk its just a dream ive always wanted to do but my jeeps always been first. And right now if i just leave my jeep alone as a dd with mods here and there then id beable to build me something i can really beat on.
But at the same time a quad sounds good because i will save alot time and honestly your right money.

You need to step back and examine priorities before you go any further. You are knockin on some expensive doors that take a lot of commitment, time, and money.

Im just tired of dropping every dollar i make into my cherokee all the time. I want a new project/toy. I know my jeeps a priority but itd be real nice to have a toy when i park it

Nvm on the buggy for now, trading one of my jon boats and $800 for an 08 yahama grizzly aint lifted but shit i think its a good deal. What yall think?

hope your still live with your paRwentz, sounds like you are dedicating lots of money to offroading.

Nahh haha i live on my own. And everyone has there hobbies or there get away spots, man mines just in the woods away from everything. But the 4wheeler i figure can help me round the house and save me some effort haulin deers home, and i can have some fun. Idk man
