tires and sas

I am going to be starting on my sas in the next few weeks and i am trying to decide on tires. what is the biggest size that you would feel comfortable with on stock axles. just for info i am running dual cases (both stock), ruf and 63's. i have a chance to get some 38's at a great deal but not sure how the stock inners will hold up.

Depends on your driving. You didn't say you were locked in front or not. 38's maybe pushing it but I'm sure there are a few that have done it.

Yeah I will be locked front and rear with 5.29's. I am leaning towards 35's or 36's

With the front locked I would not run more than 35's on stock shafts. You will eventually brake a birfeild even on 35's if you wheel it hard.

Ran 36's this way with locker for a couple years with no issues. My driving style is middle-of-the-road, pardon the pun
