Need tires for the wife’s 2017 Grand Cherokee. I got a set of 17” Rubicon wheels to put on it. Just want some good AT tires. What do you guys recommend? I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on the F250, but it breaks traction in the rain about every time I take off from a stop. Not sure if that would be an issue on the full-time 4wd and less torque of the WK2 or not. I’ve been impressed with the Cooper STT Pros on my trail rig, but have never ran any of their all terrains.

My plan was to try out the new Maxxis Razr AT next but the truck I bought had a brand new set of KO2s on it so I'm still a BFG man...

I like all of Cooper's AT tires and have gotten 65k out of every set I've run on my HD. I don't care for the new STT Pro, but their old STTs were awesome. I still have a set of them in the 37" flavor on my 99 Silverado.

Me and a buddy leveled his wife's 15 or 16 Grand and he put some Toyo AT2s on it. They look good on it and I think he stepped up one tire size from stock.

I liked the Cooper AT3s on my truck, but the Cooper HT Plus that are on my wife's van have been awesome on highway and in snow and are fine in dirt and wet grass. If you actually need an all terrain, they might not be aggressive enough, but its a much better street tire than most ATs, and has great traction wet or dry.

Looks like HT Plus is only for 18 & 20" wheels

I do want to get an AT, I hate that the WK2s look so much like a car, thus I bought the Rubicon wheels off here awhile back.

Got about 3-4k miles on the RZR AT’s I put on my truck a few months ago and like them. They are quite, good traction dry, wet, snow/ice. I plan for them to be the last set of tires I buy for that truck. It’s working on its 18th year with me and at 20 years I’ll replace it I think.

I have general grabber ATX on my truck. They grip pretty good but if make sure you keep them rotated.

I just put a set of Cooper Discoverer RTX on momma's Trailhawk. Got them at NTB for $137 a tire plus there was a $120 rebate at the time. I think they are now running about $150 a tire.. So far, they ride well and have an aggressive look to them. Seem to work well in wet grass and light mud too. Her wheels are 18" but this tire is also available in 17"

Well, I went with the Toyo Open Country AT III. I think with the Rubicon wheels and these tires it actually looks like a Jeep. The wife says she doesn’t see any difference.

Women don't notice stuff like that...which is odd to me because they can remember that one mean thing you said about her mother 24 years ago like it was yesterday. I think they're all born with archaeology degrees. They love digging up old shit :D

Looks good, btw! The color and style of the times and the more noticeable sidewall pattern definitely makes it look more aggressive and, dare I say, manly.
