Had some Pro Comp Mud Extremes(305/70/R18) put on my Ford F150 SuperCrew(FX4) with a leveling kit on the stock 18" alloy rims...but now they rub(on the suspension, not on the wheel well) on the front end when the wheel is turned tight....

I've been told by different people

* not to worry, its not a problem
* it's not good for either the truck or the tires

Just looking for some input so I can decide what to do....
Thanks

Should prolly post this in tech....not chit chat.

Just shave the sidewalls. Its simple, just take a razor blade and run it down the sidewalls to make it thinner.

Lift won't help. Thats the problem with leafsprings. Two things you can do... weld a nut on the stops to keep them from turning as far.(In my case I now need two football fields to turn around in). Or you can get offset wheels or spacers. These may cause them to now rub fenders and you will need to do some flares and or fender triming..... or body lift or higher suspenion lift to clear the tires. There is no cheap easy answer. :driver:

Its an F150 FX4 with 18" wheels, Im 99% this doesnt have leaf springs ;)

The problem is you need to get different off set wheels.

this should give you more clearance if not resolve all your rubbing problems. although a 2" leveling kit is really designed to fit 33s. if you decide you want to go smaller just stop by and we will swap you out at no charge.
