Two years ago I purchased a pop up camper. It had a roof leak so I parked it in the garage and have been slowly repairing it. I kind of forgot about it until last week. I pulled out the title and noticed that when the seller and I signed it we did not get it notarized. I did not search the drawer to ser if I have a bill of sale, so let's pretend I don't have one.
With no bill of sale and the signed, un notarized title, is there anything I can do to get the title transferred to my name? The guy moved out of town which is why he sold the camper and I do not have his contact info.

Otherwise, find the guy, mail the title to him. Have him resign it. If he can prove it's his signature by signing a piece of paper for the notary or something, they will probably stamp it. He mails it back and you do the same thing. Actually, you may not have to have your sig notarized. That may be for the seller's protection, proof of their consent to the transfer.
