My mistake then, it just seemed like there is a lot of smoke and mirrors here with things. Talking about registering a different vehicle and running plates on it and doing a process in reverse and whatever. If you just straight up said "buy a vehicle with a good title and swap all the good parts over to it and register that" then that is fine. It just seemed like you were saying you were swapping vin plates without actually saying you were swapping vin plates, to me at least. If I am wrong, I am sorry, my mistake.
But you did say this:
Which is completely and totally illegal. When I was in high school I had a friend who had two green Fox body Mustangs. One of them was a 4cyl 5-spd and one was a built V8 5-spd. The 4cyl was his daily and whenever he wanted to drive the V8 he would swap the plates. He even got pulled over a couple of times and the police just saw the plate matched a green Mustang and never thought anything different. Then he wrecked it, they looked at the vin and noticed the plate didn't match. Now all of a sudden he was charged with all kinds of shit, and his insurance company wouldn't cover the accident because his car was being driven without insurance.
Again, if this is not what you are trying to say I am sorry, but this is EXACTLY how you worded it. Whether or not you are intending to, you are telling people on here to do something that could get them in a shitload of trouble.
