She will have to obtain the title. The state will make her prove the listed owner is deceased, and that she is the executor of the estate. A guy I work with just went through this trying to get the title for his recently deceased father-in-law.
Have her obtain the title, then buy the truck. Getting the title is likely to be a headache.

Probably gonna need the title in his name, death certificate, something official showing her as the executor of the estate.

FYI the tittle is the name for the dot on top of an i or j.
