TJ Belly up/Tummy tuck. No body lift?

Anyone here running a belly up without a body lift? What did you have to do to the floor to get it to work?

Am I correct in assuming that I could just cut a piece of the floor out to make room for the transfer case?

Then have someone just weld in a small box/hump over it?

Just trying to make this work without the body lift and was wondering if anyone had any advice!

I did one on my 03 Rubicon. All I had to do was make a litle room with the hammer. No cutting was involved. For the record I used a Teraflex Skid so I'm not sure about some of the other manufactures.

It was a great skid. Easy to install and held up great. Hopefully my return PM helped. If you have any other questions shoot me another PM. Also if you ever need any help let me know. You can't be much more then about 15 minutes from me.

Seems like I used new ''raised'' motor mounts too. Helped with angle and clearance.

I think...hard to remember excactly, but It was a tera ''belly up '' skid.

Pm rockrubicon, he bought my jeep and can tell you things that I have long forgotten.
