I swapped a dana 35 out for a 44 in my 03 tj. 44 came out of 99 tj I put alloy usa shafts, lockright, and 4:10's. We used my original drum brakes. I drove part of the way home around 60 miles. When I got home the axle was pouring fluid out driver side, so I took it apart to inspect: What i found first drum super stuck once I got it off noticed the shaft had lots of play in and out then took axle out and the bearing was in pieces. So got new bearing and seal pressed back on put axle in and now its all you can do to turn the axleshaft. Any body know what I could have done wrong? Should the axleshaft trun freely? Any help will be much appreciated
