i got a tj and me and my buddys was talkin about long arms. from what they said is i could just cut my bracket off slide it up and then weld it back on. build some control arms and there ya are. well from what they said it seems a lil to easy to not be seeing them on alot of jeeps. from what i undestod they was just talkin about moving the lower bracket. is that all you got to do or do you need to move the upper too? if so where does it go? im new to jeeps and still trying to learn. can weld and fab but need a plan. thanx

on the lowers you can just cut your brackets and move them against the skid and put longer lower arms on it, you need to change the uppers to you can run your upper control arms into your lowers. thats the way alot of longarm lifts are, there are many differnt things you can do.

getting angles correct with the axle, transfer case, drive line, etc isn't just a slash and weld job - well it is for some. but those people tend to spend more time fixing things than wheeling. its temping to just hack it up but making smart decisions now makes things a hell of a lot easier down the road.

Sorry man, pirate4x4.com, look under the hardcore jeep section and you can check out several different setups. We setup up several different link setups and also supply all of the parts to do so so if you have any questions or what some advise let me know.
