Just got a TJ and the rear side windows come loose at the bottom. I can't figure out how it's happening since they are tight when I put them in and I am attaching to the door surround. Anyone else have the problem? What should I do?

Hmmm so:
1) Attached to door surround
2) Plastic edge clipped into bottom rail (tub)
3) Zippered in/around top

dang dono... Is the frame bent? Top should pull tight when the front latches are hooked in.

I've only seen problems happen when the rear back corners aren't attached and the top/frame nut pulled tight.

The zipper and curves of the door surround should stop it from sliding down.

attached to door surround
clipped in to tub (that's where it comes loose)
zipped and velcro'd across and down

The top frame appears in good condition and everything pulls tight when latching the top.

It doesn't slide down, but the bottom comes loose and starts flapping around.

Are the plastic ends where top frame attaches to the roll bar broken. This happened to mine. Going down the highway the top would come loose. Couldnt figure it out. Took the top off in the summer and found the plastic ends that attach it to the roll bar were broken. Bought new aluminum ones on ebay and it was fixed.

It's possbible. Can you give me a pic? I don't know what to look for.

I actually dont have a soft top anymore. If you look on main hoop of the roll bar right behind the front seats, you will see where the metal top frame attaches to the roll bar. The ends of the frame for the top have some plastic ends that slip over a tab on the roll bar and then a little torx screw goes through them to hold them in place. Those plastic ends break.

Is it a BesTop Supertop? Had this problem on my wifes TJ when we put the Supertop on. The bottom plastic pieces had to be pushed way up into the rail.

I checked the plastic ends and they are good. How do I tell the brand?

I bought a brand new Rubicon in 06 and from the first time I put the soft top on (oem dual top Jeep) it did that. I never did figure out why.

It'll say Bestop on some tags and on the back window. That's not a Bestop. However, it looks like the lower plactic pieces anen't seated fully.
