Looks like a great start...
Like to see some trail pictures soon.

Looks like your car port has room for a vehicle with a bunch of lift.

Track bar bolt head snapped off last night and the shocks are so rusted on on going to have to cut the top bolt off. So to prevent a long frustrating day I took a break, and jumped to a side project.

Fab table

34" x 70" x 1/4"

First piece done I'll have to have 9 more pieces cut for the sides and bottom.

I will have these to sell as well if anyone is interested.

Well got the front half done tonight,

Ended up having to cut off the track bar bolt and front of bracket to get the bolt and track bar to separate. On top of the shocks were a pita to get to top bolt. I ended up taking fenders off so I could wire wheel top of frame and throw some paint on the surface rust that was starting.

Got in together and from what I can measure my axle centered.

It's looking good.

Got the rear done a few weeks ago. Put about 1000 miles on it since complete. Rides great. Cant wait to get some sway bars for it, it leans a lot for small adjustments on the streets.

Got started on my camper build last week.

Few hours each night adds up real quick.

Went over kill on frame I plan to use this camper on longer trips including unpaved travel.

I went with 2.5 x 1.5 x .120 steel tubing for frame.

Total of 72 ft used.

Camper will be 5x12 and shouldnt be much wider than a jeep.

Went with a 2200 lb dexter axle.
I may add a brake axle later.
Spring over currently, but from research I feel I will end up going spring under.
Plan to add shocks as well.

Plan to run D window 15x8 wheels in future .

Step one of this project is done. Next will be the skeleton of sides and roof.

Build is looking good. did you close in your metal bldg? Looks like maybe you extended the walls or added a roll up door?

Yah I ordered just the carport rated for 120mph winds certified and had it bolted to concrete in 10 spots each side.
I have since closed in all sides with 2 4.5 ft sliding doors on tracks I made myself(the doors not the track)

Had my energy company come out and run power to the shop. Then had an electrician wire the Inside for me.

Took me about a year and 9,500 so far.
Far from done

dumb question time.
Concrete has to be how thick to put the lift in?
And how are you putting the bolts in the ground? Epoxy of any kind? and how long are the bolts? Curious on the install as Eagle is not a far ride for us in NC.
I'd like to put it on my wish list for now and know what I need to do to install it beforehand.
TIA

Concrete 4 inches thick is minimum.
Not sure on epoxy yet still researching
Going to hammer drill 3/4 inch holes and use matching studs
8 studs each post from factory
(I may end up cutting a wider support plate for both sides on the cnc table)

Call eagle and ask for Beau Tiffany great guy to deal with and he will help you with any info you need.

Good luck, this was a goal of one for about a decade now.
Couldn't be more excited to get it installed. But with 3 jobs time is hard to come by to finish it up. Hopefully knock it out this weekend with my buddies.

You're going to want to move those shelves and the bench.. I hate how tight my lift is on the side towards the wall. I was offered another lift in the shop, but I see it getting in the way more than it would be useful. (Pulling dashboards, interior car work & stuff that doesn't need a lift)

Yeah I plan to build a 24 ft lean to on that side of the shop and that wall will be open at that point.

Until then passenger side will be only walk through if a car is on the lift or In the bay.

Definatly need more shop.

The 2x4 shelf is going to come down this weekend and that bench will be in back right corner (still blocking walk)

Got my bumper mounted to test fit before I weld up.

Bigger gap on bottom than I wanted and my bottom bolt hole barely lines up glad I slotted the hole 1 inch...

Got the winch on to figure out fairlead mounting.

Plan to work on that tonight and tomorrow.

Also BIG FAN, not that big to most but biggest I've ever bought. 3 speed industrial fan I got from my work.

Shop is really turning out great a lot more progress than I expected this year.

Been staying busy, but got into the shop this weekend.

Got to work on a Cherokee this weekend, did the valve cover gasket and fan clutch. Late Friday night. Dang little grommets on valve cover are a PITA took me longer to get those out than the rest of the job.

Got to work on my TJ this weekend.

Been wanting to raise my gas tank mounting location since I did the body lift, and in the process I wanted to get rid of the flimsy rear cross member the factory frame came with.

Cut out flush with frame,
Made a replacement piece from 3/16"x3"x1.5" inch

Over all I gained 1.5 inchs under gas tank.

Trying to get brackets cut for rear bumper this week and wrap up the front bumper next week

Got time to mess with my Jeep TJ daily, .....beat her with a hammer....

Got the Currie anti rock installed

My frame is a 1998 Sahara and it was a pain in the ass......until I sanded about 2mm from o.d. off the bushing it tapped right in.....

With 2 mins of a dead blow, a low dollar beer and few choice words.

Anyways an easy install for the most part, we will test her out in the morning.
