Looking to get a sye and cv shaft and was wondering how to go about getting the info i need together?
like length and type, where to get it done or install myself.
if used is ok or go with new depending on price ofcourse.
thanks for any info!

look up JB Conversions, they have instructions with pictures on their website. That is the one I bought, though I have not installed it yet. Will measure for driveshaft length after SYE is installed. I've also seen that you can get a front driveshaft out of a XJ, TJ, WJ, ZJ and have it cut down to length because it already has a double cardan joint on 1 end.

I like the JB Conversions Super Short myself, and recommend that to my customers when they have it in stock. The reason being, if you ever go to a big long arm kit the super short will give you slightly better drive shaft angles and you'll have less binding and wear on the joints. Since this isn't something you generally do twice I would buy the super short and be done with it. The price is pretty reasonable at $300 and worth the extra 100 bucks. Here's a link for you to check out. http://www.jbconversions.com/pages/products/np231/np231j_short_sye.html
As far as a drive shaft goes you can get one made at any driveline shop and they will tell you how to measure for the shaft. Max price for a shaft would be about $300
