My wifes 05 Rubicon has had a small amount of wobble since new. after a 2" lift it steadly became worse. I have had it aligned, even made new cam bolts to set caster. I was running rubicon wheels with 265/75 cooper tires. I replaced the tires & wheels with unbalanced 285/75 kellys on aftermarket wheels and ther shimmy dissapeared. Now it is slightly creeping back.
Questions. What else can I try to eliminate the shimmy ?
Who in Greensboro has one of the Hunter Road force Balancers so I can put the coopers back on the Jeep.
I'm running a spacer lift, all other suspension is stock.
Thanks.

All bolts tight, duh.
"Made new cam bolts to adjust castor"
Castor set to neg. side of factory specs.
Next ?

Goodyears, thats german for out of square and round. :flipoff2:

Try load force balancing the coopers and if it has a steering damper, replace it. This is assuming youve checked for bent and worn shit. I've seen lower ball joints cause this too on like stuff and binding ball joints do it too.
