tj trans

prob the slave cylinder, but maybe the clutch or pressure plate. Could be the slave cylinder master cylinder too. Fluid level could have some effect. Maybe something has happened to the throwout bearing. Then again, it could be the starter. To make this easier to diagnose, give a few more details!:popcorn:
 
i was thinking syncranisers, but could be the slave not going all the way.
just got it this afternoon, too dark & cold to get under it.
i think i can get use to it, but need to fix eventually.
only seemed to do it when shifting quick/hard
 
If $$ is tight and it is the synchronizer, you can always double clutch it. I have problems with my slave cylinder leaking, but I just fill it up when I lose the pedal.
