TJ/YJ top question

Can a YJ hardtop be used on a TJ? why or why not? i know the strikers are different for the hard doors, but don't know anything beyond that. pondering ideas for a tj project.

No.
Different sizes. I mean, eventually anything is possible, but not you can't just set one on the other.
 
Almost all of it is different, from the lower belt rail to the folding frame, door shape etc..

I have a full best top TJ top I'll let go cheep. Its TAN and id rather have black or gray. $250 windows are all in good shape

gotcha. thanks all. i hear ya on the tan top. i want black or gray as well...
