OK... had a day working on the Jeep and did a few things...

First on the front....

Started with stock cut fenders.

Then cut them off

Then marked off 3" of the hood

And cut that off too

Made some new fenders, and decided to make a sexy little vent... just to try it

and painted

Now to the back

Marked where I decided to cut

and cut it out

but it went up into the wheel house area
(Knew this before I started)

So I built a little "arm rest"

Lol... day off, and boss was out of town...and I have keys, and the alarm code.. Shhhh
I'm pretty sure I left no evidence other than a pile of Jeep scraps in the dumpster, lol

I like the red hood latch! Really though it does look good, I like the vent you added. It's those little thing that set yours apart form everyone elses.

I did not think about how I was going to get home without hood catches, lol I have the center one but used the strap as back up.. I need to get something soon though, lol

I'm also thinking about cutting the front of the raised black area in the middle of the hood,
and dropping it down to vent the hood like I did the fenders, kind of like one wide 03 Cobra style, like you said, just to be different
