well we emptied the keg so we could get the deposit back....

wow....yall gotta learn to drink lol....how many people were drinkin on it????? me and about 10 of my friends finished off 2 kegs on halloween
 
well I had my fair share....too many people byob'd :(
last year i drank too much of the pony keg and we ran dry, so we bought the full size this time. too many lightweights and a lot of girls = not a lot of beer drank, and i just couldn't make up for it. but i guess it's time for me to find out how long it takes to drink 2 liters of beer :beer::beer:

Numerous times in college me and 4 friends drained a keg of PBR in 1 night...

i dont really see how, thats a lot off beer, but we did...and I aint talkin no pony keg either...

O i believe it's very possible, if i had 3 friends that could drink as much as i can i'm sure we could handle that no problem. most of my friends can't even finish a 12 pack without getting wasted. me, i never even knew that you could have a partner for a case race, that thought never even crossed my mind.
already since posting i've finished that mason jar, mayonnaise jar, and peanut butter jar :)
 
yall give me a call anytime u need a hand with a keg im just down the road. there is no such thing as to much beer there is just never enough beer.
 
well i'm thinking next keg won't be till i'm back home again, and prolly not till july for me and my bro's bday party

haha look how much more retarded i type the more i drink. WOO HOO nothing better then drunk nc4x4in, but i haven't been flamed in a while :( haha

Gotta post up some tech for the youngn's;

Keg=1,984 oz = 165 @12 oz glasses = 6.9 cases
1/2 keg = 992 oz = 82.7 @ 12 oz glasses = 3.5 cases
1/4 keg = 496 oz = 41.3 @ 12 oz glasses = 1.75 cases

Had to memorize that in college even though I was not greek.
Maybe this will help you to plan better next time!:beer:
 
when you go to walmart, harris teeter, lighthouse beer & wine, etc and buy a keg of bud light for $87 it's actually technically a 1/2 keg and holds 15.5 gallons / 1984 oz's.....

the $45 pony keg of bud light is a 1/4 keg if i recall correctly...

and i've never heard of this 496 oz keg yous peak of.... maybe you're talking about a party ball? available at some gas stations and such?
 
no you are right, apparently wilmington beer lingo is just out of the norm, lol

they call half barrels here half kegs
 
Pony Keg (1/4 barrel) = 7.75 gallons = 3.5 cases o' beer
Full Keg (1/2 barrel) = 15 gallons = 7 cases o' beer

The above is typical for domestics. Some microbreweries have their own sizes, such as Red Oak in Greensboro has a 1 gallon mini keg. I don't like the Coors Kegs cause they won't fit in my damn Kegorator.....

Imports come in a bazzillion different sizes.
 
we had the full keg, aka half barrel, 15 gallons...but i am working on finishing the rest off.....:):beer:
