Monster Oak came down at Granny’s house recently. Nice coffee tables for the fire pit or are they too much?
Imagine if you substituted plastic chairs and a fire ring of river rock with burned beer cans in the ashes. That's the other side of that coin.
That's actually quite cool. Did you label the rocks?At least you have chairs. My chairs are this season’s cut logs around a fire pit of random rocks from every place we raced ecors. Redneck enough? There is even a piece of coal from Harlan that hasn’t caught fire yet.

If you get all that cut up and stored in sunlight, you will have some killer firewood come December.
Technically yes if you're burning it indoors. With oak and hickory I'll start cooking with it sooner just for added flavorConsidering the tree still had leaves on it when it fell, I would say it would need a year to season. Just my experience with oak....
