What tools have You made/built?

Here's a couple of mine that aren't in someone else's tool box.....

Fan clutch wrench (47mm, Ford 6.0, made today, overbuilt since the loaner tool flared on me.... don't mind my quick HF AC fcaw in a rush weld)

Spanner wrench (grade 8 1/4" pins from bolt shoulders, too big for some applications, made for hyd cylinders but found many more uses since)

Made a few Huge (2-1/2" & 3-1/2”) sockets for wheel bearing nuts but they are out on loan. Hopefully not permanently. Also made compressors for various transmission clutch pack springs to use in the press.

I'll have to dig around in the garage, I'm sure I've got some that are rather sketchy...but in terms of job-related:

A hydraulic bearing press to install 12" roller bearings in pull-back sheaves for a 500k pound hook load rated drill rig

engine/gearbox alignment fixtures for Detroit V12 commercial engines to Sullair 1200 CFM compressors and to hydraulic pump gear boxes

a lift bale for drill rig masts that weigh 120k lbs

countless weld jigs/fixtures for installing roller axles in telescopic masts

pivoting lift bales/running gear to move 100k cap trailers with a forklift

I unfortunately don't have any pictures or my prints, because they were proprietary to the company when I left...

I miss doing crap like that...

Sheave holders for my grizzlys. Still need to drill and tap them so I can keep up with the hardware to bolt them on

Built a tool for installing torsion keys. Welder some pieces of scrap and a few grade 8 bolts

Wheel hub removal press adapter. Used to use a slide hammer with a lug adapter.. needed to remove a hub and forgot the slide hammer & adapter at the shop at home. Advance was closed. Hmm. Some scrap metal, some cuts and welds. I need to bore a hole at the bottom of both pieces of angle iron to permit a bolt/all thread to go through to prevent it from spreading at the base (thus the shims on either side) works great, way easier than the slide hammer.
