Well it's been a while since I was on this site.....

Last night my storage container was broken into, and most of my tools and my welder was stolen. I have assembled a list of some of the items that are gone, well the high-points anyways.

Any leads or info is greatly appreciated, I will be calling pawnshops in the area tomorrow and watching Craigslist and eBay like a hawk. I have contacted Miller to get the serial number of my welder from when I registered it with them.

I'm absolutely furious, and whoever took my tools does not want me to find them.

Here's the high-points, there's lots more, but this is what sticks out in my mind.

They are probably setting on a table right now at the Fairgrounds flea market in Hickory as we speak. It amazes me at the amount of good used tools you see at these places. Seems really odd to me. 99% of the guys I know wouldn't sell a single tool. I think it wouldn't be easiest to find the welder first. Guys like to brag about a nice new welder.

Hope you find them. Sorry for the loss

Man that sucks dude!! This seems to be happening more and more. Almost makes you wanna dig a hole and keep everything buried until you need to use it. Sorry for your loss in all those tools! I hope you find some if not all of them back.

Sent from my microwave using a teleportation device.

Where is this?

definitely check the flea markets. Pawn shops require phot ID nowadays to sell anything. Also check craigslist. I hope you get your tools back. I had some of mine stole and I never got them back :kaioken:

X3. Also, consider it might be someone you know or who has seen you there. Dumb luck usually doesn't randomly land a theif on a score like that.

Have you had any one working at your house? When my uncle was building his house he had around 6000 dollars of tools stolen and it just so happened to be the day after the guy came and put up garage doors....

I'm not wanting to give away too much, I still have some stuff not stolen, and I'm not familiar with Lincolnton, but within the vicinity of the town square... or what I think is the square, and no one knew where I had this stuff.

Fortunately my insurance will cover it, but they're already telling me all of my items will be depreciated, etc.... before they arrive at a replacement value....

I did get the SN of the welder, so I hope it turns up soon, so these guys get caught.
