The utility area was basically next to the warehouse and they have a neutralization building that was destroyed by the tornado as well as some utility piping. So the neutralization building has to be rebuilt as well as the steam piping that runs outside has to be checked. Until all the utilities are close to 100%, they can’t manufacture squat. And all of the finished product in that warehouse has to be scrapped whether or not it’s still in good condition due to the fact that it has now been in an unconditioned area and is now considered not suitable for use.

The difference between people in NC where it’s not as common and people in say Oklahoma or Texas where they’re still hanging out drinking beer videoing it as it rips through.

The wheelchair ramp made think maybe they weren't so mobile, but then the first thing they did was hurry outside 🤔

Growing up in TX we knew once we heard the sirens we had at least 10 or so more minutes to keep playing before it was time to get underground… once you started seeing stuff that shouldn’t be flying land in your pasture you knew it was getting close
