Has anyone ever lifted the front of a dakota or anything else with torsion keys?

We are trying to find a economical way to get a few inches of lift on my friends dakota.

I've installed a few sets in GM and Ford products, the biggest thing is REPLACE THE SHOCKS!! the stockers will crap out fast with the bars up that high. Also the ride be stiffer than stock, and check the balljoint and CV angles to make sure they aren't maxed out or they will get eatne up pretty quick. The bars are cranked on my Durango about 1.5 inches and other than killing the stock shocks I haven't had any issues with it.

He currently has the bars cranked all the way up, will the keys give him the same thing but with the adjuster at stock length?

Pretty much, you can get a little more out of them, but it gets harsh on the front end.
